Randy Evans
Randy, a North Carolina native, began his career in the insurance brokerage industry shortly after he graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 1984. He spent 15 years as a sales representative for the nation’s largest disability insurer. His years spent with that insurer were split between the Individual Products Division in Miami, FL and the Employee Benefits Division in Atlanta, GA. In 1999, Randy was recruited by a competing large employee benefits insurer to open an Employee Benefits Sales Office in Birmingham, AL. After successfully opening that office, he was asked by the same insurer to help develop, establish and operate a new Executive Benefits and Compensation Unit within the Employee Benefits Division. He went on to become the National Sales Leader in three of his five years as a sales rep. and ultimately became the Regional Sales Director for the Southeastern United States.
Randy joined Southeastern Financial Group, LLC as our Brokerage Director in March, 2008.
Randy and his wife Linda met while he was living and working in Miami, FL. They now live in Hoover, AL with their three children Taylor, Michael and Mackenzie. Randy enjoys family cookouts, saltwater fishing, golf and NASCAR.
