Andrew J. Meehan, CLU, ChFC

Andy entered the financial services industry when he graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1988. After building a great sales team in Atlanta, he was asked to move to Birmingham in March, 2000 to grow an agency for a major life insurance company.  Andy acquired Southeastern Financial Group in 2000 and has served as its President since then.  Southeastern Financial Group became independent in 2006 to focus on developing unique processes for the distribution of insurance products.

Andy and his wife Catherine met in college at Vanderbilt University and live in Mountain Brook, Alabama with their three boys and their rescued standard poodle. Andy loves to barbecue on his big green egg and is an avid skier and bird hunter.
